Riyadh, KSA, December 2025— Following the partnership announced in February 2025, ZainTECH, the integrated digital solutions provider of Zain Group, has worked with King Khalid University (KKU) and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to deliver a specialized course on drone technology as part of KKU’s “Explore Innovate Disrupt” Tech Camp.
Titled “Drones & Robotics for Tomorrow’s Leaders”, the course introduced university students to the fundamentals of drone technology, real-world applications, use case development, and hands-on demonstration. The initiative is designed to spark innovation and equip the next generation of Saudi talent with practical skills in one of today’s most disruptive emerging technologies.
The program aligns with ZainTECH’s broader commitment to enabling educational institutions across the region through knowledge-sharing and applied digital learning. The five-day course, held in late July at KKU’s Abha campus, was delivered by experts from ZainTECH’s Drones and Robotics unit, combining theory and interactive demonstrations tailored to university students with a background in computer science and related fields.
